Mitch Kapor Live at Metanomics
Mitch Kapor visited Second Life today, to talk about his background and some of the changes that are occurring at Linden Lab. Mitch is one of my favorite all time geeks, having founded Lotus, the EFF, and being a board member of the Mozilla Foundation. He was very honest about the current Second Life experience, comparing the current version to DOS versus Windows. This is a fair assessment; current users are all early adopters, and it will, “take a generation to get write, and be re-written, and re- written, and re-written”, Kapor said.
A rather humorous moment happened when Mitch kick out the cord for his microphone, and had to relog to get it working again, then had some trouble sitting!
