New skins in the works

“The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.”
- Albert Einstein

I’m working on tons of new skins, heavy mods of Eloh Eliot’s Open-Source Skins. It’s loads of fun! I have very wide-ranging tastes, but very little money at the moment, so making my own skins has always had a big pull for me. I also make shapes, build and (very rarely) script.

My biggest problem right now is thinking about how (or if I should) market them. My RL Girlfriend is having a $400 root canal next week (of all times), plus I start school in two weeks (paying out of pocket), so I’m hitting a big stumbling block with everything.

One thing that has crossed my mind is the possibility of selling one copy of my skins so far with full perms (so it would be 13). To cover my immediate cost ($400 root canal), I’d have to make L105′000 in a week.

Without selling real estate (like I have any haha).

If anyone has any thoughts on wholesaling skins or in general, let me know what you think!

Hi Midori, I know that Sarah Nerd has purchased full-mod products for resale in the past, and she’s a fantastic person to deal with. I hope this tip helps - and welcome to Second Blogger. :)
